Bill is a lifelong Conservative who got his first taste of the political process at age 9 when he proudly handed out buttons for then-President Richard Nixon and has been hooked ever since. Bill has held campaign positions for various local, state and national candidates including President Ronald Reagan, Steve Forbes, Senator Fred Thompson, and most recently Senator John McCain. He is currently a member of the Bibb County, Georgia GOP Executive Committee as well as being on the Georgia GOP's State Committee and also writes a bi-weekly column for The 11th Hour Magazine as well as Publisher of WeArePolitics.com. Bill, his wife Bridget and son Teddy live in Macon, Georgia.

Doug is a software developer and architect who has developed websites with several million users. He became interested in politics at an early age with the election of Ronald Reagan. He lives in Macon, Georgia with his prosecutor wife, Lauren, and two children, Sam and Isobel.

Gary L. Bauer is one of America’s most effective spokesmen for pro-life, pro-family and pro-growth values. Bauer is a frequent guest on a wide variety of political talk shows and a much-in-demand speaker nationwide.

Bauer served in President Ronald Reagan's administration for eight years, as Under Secretary of Education and as President Reagan's Chief Domestic Policy Advisor. While serving at the Education Department, Bauer was named Chairman of President Reagan's Special Working Group on the Family. His report, "The Family: Preserving America's Future," was presented to the President in December 1986.

Completing his service in the Reagan White House in late 1988, Gary Bauer became President of the Family Research Council and a Senior Vice President of Focus on the Family. The Family Research Council is one of Washington's most respected centers for public policy. In ten years, Bauer led FRC from a three person, $1 million operation, to a 120 person, $14 million operation, housed in its own headquarters in downtown Washington.

In 1996, Bauer launched the Campaign for Working Families, a political action committee dedicated to electing pro-family, pro-life conservatives to public office. In its first two years of operation, Campaign for Working Families raised $7 million with 90,000 individual contributors and today remains one of America’s largest conservative political action committees.

Bauer took his unapologetically pro-family, pro-life message across the country in 1999 and 2000 into the Republican presidential debates and primaries. Stressing the sanctity of life and traditional marriage, Bauer made family-friendly policies and combating judicial activism key platforms of his campaign.

He has continued to champion these and other causes at American Values, a non-profit educational organization Bauer founded after the 2000 presidential campaign. From American Values, Bauer has authored numerous op-ed pieces making the case for a federal marriage protection amendment and stressing the urgent need to rein in rogue judges. A vocal opponent of the “stealth strategy” for Supreme Court nominations, Bauer was an early critic of the nomination of Harriet Miers and enthusiastically backed Samuel Alito. During the Roberts and Alito Supreme Court confirmation hearings, Bauer was quoted more than one thousand times in newspapers across the country making the case for a conservative Supreme Court nominee.

A staunch supporter of President Bush’s war on terrorism, Bauer is also a leading Christian advocate for a strong and secure Israel. Since the atrocities of September 11th, Bauer has devoted considerable time and energy to strengthening the shared values of the Israeli/American alliance.

Bauer is the author of Our Journey Home, published in October 1992; co-author of Children at Risk: The Battle for the Hearts and Minds of Our Kids written with Focus on the Family Chairman and Founder, Dr. James Dobson; author of Our Hopes, Our Dreams: A Vision for America, published in 1996, and Doing Things Right, published in 2001.

In 1973, Bauer received his law degree from Georgetown Law School in Washington D.C. He is married to the former Carol Hoke of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and lives in Virginia. Gary and Carol Bauer have three grown children.

Debbie Dooley is the co-founder and co-organizer of Atlanta Tea Party, the largest tea party in Georgia. She has been a conservative grassroots activist since 1976. Debbie has participated in over 30 political campaigns and grassroots initiatives since 1976. Debbie also serves as a National Coordinator for Tea Party Patriots in addition to serving as grassroots coordinator for FreedomWorks in Georgia.

Dave was has been a resident of Snellville, GA for 28 years and is currently one of the city’s Planning Commissioners. Along with his wife Kathy, and daughter Nikki, he moved to Snellville from Houston, Texas. Karen England is the Executive Director of Capitol Resource Institute, a non-profit organization that provides education and advocacy for family values. She has led its work in the California state legislature and at local government levels for 10 years. CRI is the oldest and largest pro-family public policy organization in California.

Randy served as the outside counsel to the Speakers of the 104th through the 109th Congresses of the United States - Speakers Newt Gingrich and Dennis Hastert. He chairs the companies of Newt Gingrich and former House Republican Conference Chairman J. C. Watts. He is the senior member of the five-person Georgia State Election Board and was the General Counsel of the Georgia Republican Party. He represents a host of well-known public officials including Senators, Members, Governors, and state elected officials. Evans is a partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge where he chairs the Financial Institutions practice. He has been recognized in various publications as one of the "Best Lawyers In America" and one of Georgia's "most influential people." Randy has authored two books and writes a weekly newspaper column that appears in newspapers around Georgia.

Sadie Fields has worked in Christian activism for the past 20 years. Her first position was with the Christian Film and Television Commission, a ministry that monitors the effects of violence and sex on children in movies and on television, where she was involved in fund raising and public relations.

Virginia Galloway is the State Director of Americans For Prosperity, GA. She is a GA native and lives with her family in Hiram. She home schooled her 4 children 1st – 12th grades and is now a proud grandmother. She has been involved in political activism for most of her life, but especially during the past 16 years, serving 6 years as Chairman of the Paulding Republican Party. Virginia serves on the GA Dept. of Driver Services Board and at her church, Church at the Ridge. She helped plan the Atlanta Tea Party 2009 as well as numerous Tea Parties across the state and has spoken at dozens of Tea Parties since then. She has worked with Americans For Prosperity GA since it started in September 2006, and became State Director in 2009.

Vanessa Hall Green is a freelance writer living in Dacula, Ga. She is originally from Conway, South Carolina. She moved here with her family (she has three sons) from Hollywood, Fl. in 1991. She is the author of a very successful blog in the local Georgia section of Townhalll.com, www.lettersfromanordinarycitizen.com and contributes to a regular opinion blog on the local Patch affiliate, www.daculapatch.com. In addition to writing about politics, she has also published numerous lifestyle articles online and enjoys writing short stories, personal essays and poetry.

Charles Jackson attended Atlanta public schools and the University of Georgia. He graduated with an M.A. degree in political science from Georgia State University and is a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Jackson got hooked on politics as a high school senior and then as a freshman at the University of Georgia. He has since compiled an extensive background in politics, working in numerous campaigns and serving on the staffs of several Georgia elected officials. Mr. Jackson is a keen observer of current events and politics. His commentaries are perceptive, vibrant and witty. "Great insights and solid writing," a reader commented. He is a self-described humorist, classical (Edmund Burke, Friedrich Hayek) and movement (Buckley, Goldwater, Reagan) conservative - with a dash of populist libertarianism. Mr. Jackson is a history buff, avid reader and sports fan. He lives in Atlanta.

David E. Johnson is the CEO of Strategic Vision LLC, a public relations, public affairs, and political consulting firm. David has been involved in Republican politics since 1988 working on Bob Dole’s Presidential Primary Campaign. He has overseen numerous political races around the country for Republican candidates. He appears on FOX Business Network, CNBC, ABC, as well as 11Alive in Atlanta for his political analysis.

Rhubarb Jones was the longest running morning radio personality in the Atlanta radio market. His 23 year hub-tenure at Y-106.7 and later Eagle 106.7 began in February 1985 and ended on the last day of February 2008. His 23 years in morning radio is an Atlanta radio milestone. His radio career spanned over 36 years. He is now serving as a director of special events in the department of university development at Kennesaw State University. He is also on the faculty of the department of mass communication of Georgia's 3rd largest university.

Jeffrey Klein, BSBA and MBA finance and economics, is a Conservative Republican, originally from Michigan, who is well known among his peers for his political analysis, commentary and forecasting. Mr. Klein has 33 years of business experience most of which as a serial entrepreneur. As the sole or majority shareholder and President, Mr. Klein has tremendous hands on experience with starting, building and managing small businesses, creating jobs, and personal responsibility for multi-million dollar bank loans and P & L.

Leanne Livingston is a 19-year-old freshman at Kennesaw State University. After spending a year living in Ireland serving in a “GAP” year program for Christian Missions, she returned home to study Political Science with a concentration in Government and Professional Politics. Leanne has had a passion for the subject since middle school when she began competitive debate. During high school, Leanne ranked in the national top twenty of policy debaters in 2009. In the same year, she entered the American Legion Constitutional Speech competition with a speech on Government Accountability. After competing at various levels within the state, she won the title for Georgia and continued on to the National Semi-Finals, the top nine speakers in the nation. With this experience, she was able to deliver the speech at two July 4th Tea Parties in 2009. Leanne has worked closely on campaigns for Governor Sonny Perdue, Representative Charlice Byrd, and Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers; as well as writing the copy for Herman Cain’s on-camera narration of the Tea Party Patriots 9-12 events opening video She is thankful and enthusiastic about the opportunity to write for WeArePolitics.com and can’t wait to discuss upcoming political happenings the “right” way.

Ann-Marie Murrell is a Conservative writer and a contributor to The Reagan Report and many other Conservative websites. Like President Reagan, Ann-Marie spent the first half of her life in show business and as a democrat. However, 9/11 changed her life and after watching the buildings in New York collapse she understood what evil truly was, and the importance of having strong, capable leaders in America. Kristopher Vermillion is a 30 year old political commentator living in Warner Robins, GA. He is the host of the daily radio program Good Afternoon Warner Robins on 107.5 the Patriot and is best known for marrying way out of his league.
